The Clippers have signed undrafted rookie forward Marqus Blakely to a two-year, partially guaranteed contract, according to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express.

Blakely, who played at Vermont for four seasons, played for Los Angeles in the Las Vegas Summer League.

It appears as though Rasual Butler will return to the Clippers.

Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times wrote the following on her Twitter page, "Clipper news: Drum roll please ... Rasual Butler returning to Clippers next year, according to sources of reallisa."

Butler played for the Clippers last season after spending time with the Heat and Hornets during his first seven years in the NBA.

Despite rumors to the contrary, the Clippers are not going after 76ers forward Andre Iguodala.

Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times wrote the following on her Twitter page Thursday afternoon, "Before day gets away (again), hearing that the Clippers are not interested in Andre Iguodala. Goes beyond that massive contract too."

Tracy McGrady underwent a physical with the Clippers on Tuesday and was scheduled to work out for the team on Wednesday.

It was reported last week that McGrady would work out for the Clippers on Tuesday.

Dirk Nowitzki won't play for Germany at the World Championships in Turkey this summer.

Because of that, Chris Kaman will stop asking the Clippers let him play for Germany too.

If Nowitzki had played for Germany, Kaman would have wanted to join him.

The Los Angeles Clippers and free agent Craig Smith today reached an agreement that will enable the power forward to return to the team for 2010-11.

Smith, who averaged 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 16.4 minutes in 75 games played with Los Angeles last season, also connected on 57 percent of his field goals on the year. He was originally acquired by the Clippers, along with Sebastian Telfair and Mark Madsen from Minnesota, on July 20, 2009 in exchange for Quentin Richardson.

Marc Iavaroni has been hired by the Clippers as an assistant coach, general manager Neil Olshey confirmed Saturday.

"I'm excited about the opportunity," Iavaroni said while watching the Clippers play San Antonio on Saturday in the Las Vegas summer league. "They're young and they're going to be hungry. They want to learn how to win. It'll be interesting and fun to see them grow along with Baron [Davis] and Chris [Kaman]."

The Clippers will bring in Tracy McGrady for a workout next week, Neil Olshey confirmed.

The market for McGrady has yet to materialize after he had a mixed performance for the Knicks.

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed guard Willie Warren, their second round selection (54th overall) in the 2010 NBA Draft.

The University of Oklahoma product was an Honorable Mention All-Big 12 selection as a sophomore in 2009-10, averaging a team-high 16.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 32.3 minutes per game while appearing in 21 contests.

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed draft picks Al-Farouq Aminu of Wake Forest and Eric Bledsoe of Kentucky, the team announced Saturday.

Aminu, a forward, was the eighth selection in last month's NBA draft. Bledsoe, a guard, was the 18th pick, whom the Clippers acquired in a draft-day trade after he was taken by Oklahoma City.
