Jalen Brunson and Nikola Jokic have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for Week 25.

Brunson averaged 38.5 points and 7.5 assists as the New York Knicks went 4-0.

Jokic averaged 26.5 points and 11.5 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets went 3-1.

The Eastern Conference seeds are set following the end of regular season on Sunday. The first round begins on Saturday, April 20th.

The NBA announced that the New York Knicks have been fined $25,000 for violating league injury reporting rules.

The Knicks failed to accurately disclose the game availability status of Mitchell Robinson prior to their game against the Toronto Raptors on March 27.  Robinson was listed as “Out” in New York’s initial injury report and subsequently played in the game.

New York Knicks center Isaiah Hartenstein has blossomed in his first season as a regular starter. Hartenstein hopes that leads to a big contract, preferably with the Knicks.

"I’m focused on what I’m doing right now. I know I’ve put myself in a great position to get a little upgrade. Right now, I’m focused on the Knicks. I love it here, and hopefully, we’ll figure something out, but at the end of the day, business is business," Hartenstein said about his upcoming unrestricted free agency.

When asked if he'd stay with New York if the money was equal elsewhere, Hartenstein replied with a simple "Yeah".

OG Anunoby has been cleared for contact and is getting close to returning to the New York Knicks lineup.

“OG is doing well. He’s getting closer. We’re cautiously optimistic about that one," said Tom Thibodeau.

Anunoby, who has missed the last 10 games, is playing 5-on-5 in practice.

The team announced that Julius Randle will miss the rest of the season on Thursday.

Julius Randle will undergo season-ending surgery on his right shoulder.

Randle has been out since dislocating his shoulder on Jan. 27. Randle had worked on rehabilitating the injury, but continued instability in the shoulder made it unsafe for him to play again this season. Randle had hoped to avoid surgery.

Randle's surgery is expected to allow for a full recovery and return around the start of the 24-25 season.

Jalen Brunson and Luka Doncic have been named the NBA's Players of the Month for March.

Brunson averaged 28.8 points and 5.8 assists as the New York Knicks went 9-5.

Doncic averaged 32.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and 10.1 assists as the Dallas Mavericks went 11-4. Doncic also won the award in February. 

The banged-up New York Knicks are battling for playoff seeding in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, the Knicks are going to stay without a couple of key players for a while longer.

New York coach Tom Thibodeau recently said he didn't have a timeline for OG Anunoby (elbow pain) or Julius Randle (separated shoulder) to return. Now, reports are that Anunoby may be closer to a return than Randle is. Anunoby is working through pain in his surgically repaired right elbow. Randle is still in controlled-contact practices, as he rehabs from his separated shoulder.

Knicks wing Josh Hart recently said that the team has to operate as if neither Anunoby nor Randle will be back this season. Hart said that if they do return, the Knicks will "be pleasantly surprised if they come back."

Tom Thibodeau said that the New York Knicks were approaching OG Anunoby and Julius Randle's rehab on a day-to-day basis.

"We just deal with reality. You deal with it day-to-day. When he's strong enough, he gets out there," said Thibodeau when asked whether Anunoby would return from an elbow injury this season.

Anunoby has not progressed past "controlled contact" workouts.

Thibodeau was also unsure of Randle's return.

"Just keep doing what he's doing, day-to-day. You never know when it turns. That's basically the approach we take," said Thibodeau.
