The Orlando Magic have waived Jeff Teague, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Teague was acquired from the Celtics in the deal involving Evan Fournier. 

The Boston Celtics pursued a trade for Nikola Vucevic before he was moved by the Orlando Magic to the Chicago Bulls. Boston offered multiple first round picks and were a finalist.

Boston was also linked to trade talks with the Magic on Aaron Gordon, who was instead traded to the Denver Nuggets.

The Celtics ultimately traded for Evan Fournier, who had the cheapest asking price by the Magic.

With the Celtics trading away Daniel Theis in a tax saving move, they are pursuing Andre Drummond on the buyout market.

The Denver Nuggets have agreed to acquire Aaron Gordon and Gary Clark from the Orlando Magic for Gary Harris, RJ Hampton and a first round pick.

The Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets also have pursued Gordon.

Gordon can become a free agent in 2022.

Fournier will be a free agent this offseason and has also been linked with the New York Knicks.

The New York Knicks have emerged with interest in trading for Evan Fournier in addition to the Boston Celtics.

Other bidders for Fournier could emerge depending on what happens with Kyle Lowry.

The Chicago Bulls have agreed to acquire Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu from the Orlando Magic for Wendell Carter Jr., Otto Porter and two first round picks.

The Magic now head into a more comprehensive rebuild phase.

Chicago will send their first round picks in 2021 and 2023 as part of the trade. The 2021 draft pick is protected top-4.

Vucevic has two seasons remaining on his contract.

The Orlando Magic are listening to trade offers on Nikola Vucevic, but a "substantial package" would need to be offered.

The Magic are also working on a trade of Aaron Gordon. If the Magic also trade Vucevic, they would signal their intent on a substantial long-term rebuild. 

Vucevic has two more seasons remaining on his contract worth $90 million over four years.

The Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic have had serious talks on a potential Aaron Gordon trade, sources tell Zach Lowe.

Houston would likely need to send multiple picks to the Magic to consummate a trade.

It is uncertain what type of situation Gordon would prefer to end up in, or if he has the power to influence that part of trade talks.

Gordon can become a free agent after the 21-22 season.

Aaron Gordon said that mounting frustrations with losses and injuries were reasons why he asked the Orlando Magic for a trade earlier in the season.

The Athletic reported that Gordon asked to be traded in February.

"There's been times where I just expressed my frustration to management. Frustration with the losses, the injuries, the way we've been playing and how many losses have accumulated over the years. So it's just my frustration kind of boiling over I would say. ... I think a lot of people share that sentiment with me, of frustration," said Gordon.

Gordon has been the subject of several trade rumors and is expected to be traded before Thursday's deadline.

Gordon added that he'll continue to play hard despite the rumors.  

"I've been here for seven years, developed a home here, a sense of love and community here. For as long as I have Orlando on my chest, Magic on my chest, I'm going to give it everything I have."

The Denver Nuggets are interested in Harrison Barnes and Aaron Gordon as they search for a replacement for Jerami Grant, sources tell the Denver Post.

The Orlando Magic appear more interested in trading Gordon than the Sacramento Kings do with Barnes.

Gordon has one season remaining on his contract while Barnes has two seasons.
