The Chicago Bulls will keep Nikola Mirotic from playing in Wednesday's game and presumably through the trade deadline on Feb. 8th.

The Bulls are attempting to trade Mirotic, who can veto a trade.

Chicago and the Pelicans were close to a trade of Mirotic this week.

The New Orleans Pelicans and Chicago Bulls were close to a trade involving Nikola Mirotic for a first round pick and the contract of Omer Asik.

Mirotic can veto a trade unless the Bulls pick up his $12.5 million option for next season.

Mirotic has sought a trade from the Bulls since his preseason fight with Bobby Portis.

Kris Dunn is out indefinitely following his injury in Wednesday's game.

Dunn's two dislocated front teeth were stabilized and have been splinted with braces as the form of treatment. 

Dunn was also re-evaluated for concussion symptoms and has been placed in the NBA Concussion Protocol. 

Robin Lopez and Justin Holiday could be moved by the Chicago Bulls by the trade deadline.

Lopez is signed through the 18-19 season. Lopez signed a four-year, $54 million deal with the Knicks in 2015.

Holiday signed with the Bulls on a two-year, $9 million deal in 2017.

While Nikola Mirotic is widely expected to be traded before the deadline, the Chicago Bulls are remaining patient with the process.

Chicago has been seeking a first round pick in exchange for Mirotic.

Mirotic must waive his no-trade clause in order to be dealt, but he still prefers a trade following his preseason fight with Bobby Portis.

Mirotic signed a two-year, $27 million deal with the Bulls in restricted free agency.

Fred Hoiberg praised Mirotic for his attitude as trade talk swirls around him.

“Niko has been awesome throughout this process,” Hoiberg said. “And it’s not easy when your name is getting thrown out there as much as his is. A couple of our other guys, as well.”

The Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers have interest in Nikola Mirotic.

Mirotic continues to prefer a trade from the Chicago Bulls due to his preseason fight with Bobby Portis.

The Bulls are seeking a first round pick for Mirotic.

Zach LaVine will make his season debut on Saturday against the Pistons.

LaVine has been rehabbing a torn ACL suffered last season before he was traded to the Chicago Bulls.

LaVine will be one a 20-minute limit and won't play on back-to-backs before the All-Star break.

LaVine will be a restricted free agent this offseason.

The Chicago Bulls will guarantee the contract of David Nwaba for the remainder of the season.

Nwaba has played well this season for the Bulls and will be a restricted free agent in the offseason. Nwaba is averaging 7.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.0 minutes per game for the Bulls.

Nwaba played 20 games for the Lakers last season.

Nwaba went undrafted in 2016 out of Cal Poly.

Nikola Mirotic and his representatives remain firm on his trade request from the Chicago Bulls and is willing to waive his no-trade clause when he becomes eligible on Jan. 15th.

Mirotic has been a key factor in the mostly stellar play of the second unit.

Zach LaVine will be ready to return around the same time Mirotic can be traded. LaVine completed his sixth consecutive practice Thursday and will travel with the team to Dallas and Indiana on Friday and Saturday.
