Clippers head coach Mike Dunleavy said it would be another 2-3 weeks before forward Elton Brand is ready to return to the lineup.

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed guard Doug Overton and have waived center Wang Zhi-Zhi.
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Indiana Pacers forward Jermaine O'Neal was out of Wednesday night's lineup against the Los Angeles Clippers with tendinitis in his right knee.
O'Neal was listed as doubtful, but said in the locker room before the game he could not play.
Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said his star is day-to-day.
``We're going to have to do what we can to get him healthy and, in the mean time, have other guys step up,'' Carlisle said.
Carlisle said Al Harrington would start for O'Neal.
O'Neal has voiced concern this season that competing with the U.S. national team the last three summers is starting to take its toll. He missed time in the preseason with a back injury.
O'Neal's 10.6 rebounds and 2.7 blocks a game lead the team. He is second in scoring with 18.6 points a game.
"The Clippers activated forward Glen Rice and put forward Elton Brand on the injured list as expected Saturday before their game against the Orlando Magic at Staples Center."
After posting career highs of 32 points and 16 rebounds in the Clippers' 115-103 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night, guard Quentin Richardson sat through the last half of Wednesday's practice after rolling his left ankle.
"Glen Rice, yet to make his Clipper debut because of a hyperextended right knee, said he was "on schedule" to be activated for Saturday's game against the Orlando Magic, the first for which he will be eligible to come off the injured list."
"Clippers forward Elton Brand is scheduled to have an X-ray Tuesday to determine the healing stage of his injured right foot. Brand is recovering from a hairline fracture of the fourth metatarsal, an injury discovered Oct. 30 after the Clippers' opening game against the Seattle SuperSonics."
Brand expects to return to the lineup in 3-4 weeks.
"If there was any confusion that Rashard Lewis, the once soft-spoken teenager whom the Sonics drafted five years ago, is all grown up, then his career-high 50-point performance last night removed any doubt."
Lewis accomplished the feat in Seattle's 124-105 victory in Japan over the L.A. Clippers.
