Johnny Juzang and the Utah Jazz have agreed to a Two-Way contract.

Juzang appeared in 18 games last season for the Jazz, averaging 4.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 12.9 minutes. Juzang also appeared in 17 G League games, averaging 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 31.9 minutes over 17 games.

Juzang averaged 17.8 points in Summer League.

The Utah Jazz have signed center Omer Yurtseven.

Yurtseven (7-0, 255, Georgetown) is entering his third NBA season, having spent two campaigns (2021-23) with the Miami Heat, owning averages of 5.2 points on 53.3 percent shooting and 4.9 rebounds per contest in 65 career games (12 starts). During the 2021-22 campaign, the 25-year-old totaled 11 double-figure scoring outings, including two 20-plus point outings and eight double-doubles. He’s appeared in 17 postseason contests in two seasons. 

The Utah Jazz have emerged as a team connected to taking on Tyler Herro should the Miami Heat send him out in a package to acquire Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers, reports Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

"Although outside of early rumblings about Brooklyn and Chicago, the only team even loosely connected as a Herro suitor has been Utah," writes Fischer.

The Jazz reportedly were connected to Herro during the 2022 offseason when the Miami Heat were mentioned as a possible trade partner for Donovan Mitchell. 

League personnel have optimism that the Heat will acquire a first round pick to send to Portland in exchange for Herro.

There has been speculation of the Brooklyn Nets trying to acquire Herro while also unloading Ben Simmons, but sources tell Fischer that no meaningful conversation on that front has occurred. Simmons has two years and nearly $80 million left on his contract.

The Philadelphia 76ers matched Paul Reed's three-year, $23 million offer sheet from the Utah Jazz, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

With Reed signing the offer sheet on Saturday morning, the Sixers waited until late Sunday night to match the offer.

Reed has veto power on any trade and cannot be dealt to the Jazz for a year.

With the first season of the deal fully guaranteed, the last two years become guaranteed should Reed's team reaches the conference semifinals in 2023-24.

The Sixers are projected to be $6.6 million over the luxury tax, according to Bobby Marks.

Should the 76ers match the offer sheet, the team would incur $14 million in luxury tax penalties. Reed would also have veto power on trades for the first year in Philadelphia. 

The Utah Jazz make an exploratory call with the Portland Trail Blazers about a trade for Damian Lillard, sources tell ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The call didn't come with an offer as the Jazz are likely not on the same timetable for contention as Lillard. But the Jazz have a deep collection of future traded picks, which makes it possible for them to beat a competing offer while still holding some of those assets.

Lillard played collegiately in Utah for Weber State.

Jordan Clarkson and the Utah Jazz have agreed to a three-year, $55 million contract renegotiation and extension.

The deal includes next season and two additional seasons through 25-26.

Clarkson opted into his contract for 23-24 last month.

Clarkson averaged 20.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 32.6 minutes over 61 games last season for the Jazz as he took on a bigger role following the departure of Donovan Mitchell. 

The Cleveland Cavaliers are acquiring Damian Jones from the Utah Jazz. Jones opted into his $2.6 million veteran minimum deal with Utah ahead of free agency opening.
