Matthews has missed three games due to right hamstring soreness and will rehab with the Herd.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Montrezl Harrell Involved In Confrontation Following Sixers' Win

Nov 19, 2022 1:31 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Montrezl Harrell were involved in a confrontation following the Philadelphia 76ers' 110-102 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.

The confrontation occurred as Antetokounmpo shot free throws as fans left the arena. Harrell then took the ball from Antetokounmpo.

“This isn’t f—— Milwaukee. Get that s— out of there," yelled Harrell, according to Joe Vardon of The Athletic.

Antetokounmpo, who left the court after Harrell refused to return the ball, came back with two basketballs.

Antetokounmpo then pushed a ladder away from the front of the hoop and returned to shooting free throws as Harrell continued to yell.

After Antetokounmpo left the court for the second time, Thanasis Antetokounmpo attempted to speak to Harrell. Harrell reportedly responded by saying “I’ll beat your a–” and “you better send that s— back to the locker room.”

Antetokounmpo finished the game with 25 points while only shooting 4-of-15 from the free throw line. Harrell finished with 1 point in 5 minutes.

Bucks Considered Most Likely Team To Trade For Jae Crowder

Nov 18, 2022 2:20 PM

The Phoenix Suns have reportedly been closing in on a trade of Jae Crowder and the Milwaukee Bucks are considered the most likely team to acquire him. The Bucks have scoured the league for a team to take on Grayson Allen and a final version of the Crowder deal is likely to involve a third team.

"People around the situation have said Milwaukee is the most likely team to land him," said Jake Fischer on Thursday on 'Please Don't Aggregate This'.

Crowder will be a free agent this offseason and is seeking a three-year deal worth at least $30 million.

The Bucks have looked for a replacement of PJ Tucker since he departed for the Miami Heat in the 2021 offseason.

Bucks Exploring Trade Market Of Grayson Allen

Nov 11, 2022 10:23 AM

The Milwaukee Bucks have called numerous teams to gauge the trade value of Grayson Allen, sources tell Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports.

Allen signed a two-year, $20 million extension with the Bucks before the 2021 season. Allen struggled to defend during Milwaukee's second round loss to the Boston Celtics last season in which he played extended minutes with Khris Middleton injured.

The Bucks have long registered interest in Jae Crowder, who is on an expiring contract.

NBA, NBPA Expected To Revisit Tampering Rules

Nov 1, 2022 8:46 AM

The NBA has attempted to crack down on teams tampering with opposing players in recent years. After a wave of punishments, the league and the NBPA are expected to revisit rules around tampering with pending free agents.

The NBA pushed the start of the free agent negotiating period up to 6:00 PM ET on June 30. This was after years of free agency opening at midnight on July 1, with many deals being agreed to immediately upon free agency opening. That six-hour head start still hasn't proven to be enough for many teams.

The league voided an agreed-to deal between the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings in the 2020 offseason, because the teams got an early jump on the negotiations. The Bucks were forced to forfeit a second-round pick for tampering with Bogdan Bogdanovic, who was set to be a restricted free agent.

The Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat were also forced to forfeit second-round picks after jumping the gun on free agent negotiations. The Bulls and Heat had agreed to sign-and-trade deals too early with Lonzo Ball and Kyle Lowry, respectively.

This week, the NBA took away two second-round picks from the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers were punished after they were found to have reached early agreements with P.J. Tucker and Danuel House Jr. In addition, the league is still in the midst of an investigation into the New York Knicks signing of Jalen Brunson.
