Josh Primo has agreed to sign a Two-Way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Primo was released by the San Antonio Spurs last October after he allegedly exposed himself to multiple women.

The NBA announced a four-game suspension for Primo earlier on Friday.

Primo was the 12th overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft.

The Los Angeles Clippers have continued to engage the Boston Celtics on a potential trade for Malcolm Brogdon this offseason, sources told Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

The Clippers backed out of a trade for Brogdon in June to medical concerns.

The Celtics pivoted to a trade where they send Marcus Smart to the Memphis Grizzlies as part of a deal to acquire Kristaps Porzingis. 

Boston is believed to be committed to Derrick White as their starting point guard.

The Celtics and Clippers are each also interested in Jrue Holiday.

The Portland Trail Blazers are expected to trade Jrue Holiday to another team after acquiring him from the Milwaukee Bucks in the Damian Lillard trade.

Holiday has a player option worth $37.4 million for the 24-25 season, which could give him some level of control over where he is traded.

Sources tell the Miami Herald that the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers are teams that appeal to Holiday. 

Holiday was traded by the New Orleans Pelicans to the Bucks during the 2020 offseason and helped the Bucks win the NBA championship that season.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are entering training camp "fully healthy," according to Los Angeles Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank.

"Both are fully healthy. I think both have had extremely productive offseasons, and obviously our two best players are totally invested in doing special things for the Clippers," said Frank on Wednesday.

Leonard and George each have a $48 million player option for the 2024-25 season, and both are eligible to sign four-year extensions worth $223 million.

Frank also addressed the possibility of the Clippers upgrading the roster. James Harden was rumored as a trade target, though there was no traction on a deal.

"You are always looking for ways to get better, both individually, as a team. ... From our standpoint, we'll always be aggressive trying to find ways to improve the team," added Frank. 

The LA Clippers have added wing Brodric Thomas to their camp roster. Thomas signed an Exhibit 10 contract with LA. Given the Clippers are already carrying more than the regular season maximum, it's likely Thomas will land with the Ontario Clippers of the G League following the preseason.

Thomas was with the Boston Celtics during the 2022 preseason. He was waived when Boston cut down to their regular season roster. The 6-foot-5 wing has also played with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets.

Just over a week from training camp opening, James Harden is still hoping for a trade to the LA Clippers. This is despite the fact that there seems to be little momentum sending Harden anywhere away from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Harden made a trade request shortly before free agency opened this past summer. Harden doubled down on that request later when he called Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey a "liar". On that same trip to China, Harden also said he'd never play for an organization that Morey is a part of again.

The 76ers have media day scheduled for Monday, October 2. Training camp for the Sixers will be held in Colorado Springs shortly thereafter.

Marcus Morris is not expected to stay away from the Los Angeles Clippers despite ongoing trade rumors, sources told Law Murray of The Athletic.

Murray contrasts Morris' situation with Jae Crowder sitting out for the Suns before getting traded to the Bucks last season. 

The Clippers were rumored to be seeking a Morris trade this offseason. 

Should Morris not get traded, he will remain at the top of the depth chart at the Clippers' power forward position. 

The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to sign Xavier Moon to an Exhibit 10 deal.

Moon will compete for the final Two-Way roster spot with the Clippers.

Moon has appeared in 14 games with the Clippers over the past two seasons.

The LA Clippers have moved on from trying to trade for James Harden, per Brian Windhorst on The Hoop Collective podcast from ESPN. Windhorst said it was the Clippers who walked away from the Harden trade talks, and not the Philadelphia 76ers.

"The Clippers tried to trade for James Harden, and that deal didn’t happen," Windhorst said. "And from what I understand, it was the Clippers who said, ‘Okay, there’s no deal here. We’re gonna move on.’ And while I assume that they could certainly make a deal midseason, I assume that this is what they’re gonna go with."

The Clippers have been reported as Harden's preferred landing spot since he asked for a trade earlier this summer. The Sixers have set a complicated asking price for Harden, which includes win-now players, draft picks that can be traded for win-now players, while also preserving cap flexibility for the summer of 2024.
