Al Jefferson and Blake Griffin have been named the NBA Players of the Week for games played Monday, March 10, through Sunday, March 16.

Jefferson led the Bobcats to a 4-0 week behind averages of 24.3 points (second in the conference) and 11.5 rebounds (fourth in the conference). He logged 37.7 mpg (tied-eighth in the East) and posted point-rebound double-doubles in three-of-four contests. 

Griffin helped the Clippers to a 4-0 week with averages of 27.0 points (third in the conference), 9.3 rebounds (ninth in the conference), 4.8 assists and 1.5 steals. He logged 36.9 mpg (eighth in the conference). 

Jermaine O'Neal confronted Blake Griffin after the Los Angeles Clippers' win over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

Griffin was talking to friends and taking pictures when O'Neal approached him in the postgame hallway.

“Why you going to walk up on me like that?” Griffin asked O’Neal. “Leave that ... on the court. Leave that ... on the court.”

O’Neal snarled, shook Griffin’s hand and walked away.

“Man, I’m a monster off the court,” O’Neal said, turning away.

Before Griffin walked into the postgame interview room, he responded.

“Man, get out of here with that,” Griffin said.

The two had gotten into an altercation in the fourth quarter on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Clippers are interested in signing Bobby Brown.

Brown cannot sign an NBA deal until his team in China is eliminated from the playoffs.

Brown is averaging 30.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game for Dongguan.

LeBron James and Blake Griffin have been named the NBA Players of the Month for February.

James averaged 30.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2.7 steals per game with a PER of 33.6 in February.

Griffin averaged 30.0 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game with a PER of 29.7 in the month. Griffin PER in February was the highest of any month of his career.

J.J. Redick is out with a bulging disk in his lower back. He has missed the last 11 games for the Los Angeles Clippers, including Tuesday's game at Phoenix.

There's no timetable for Redick's return, which could be put back to the playoffs.

"He's doing a lot better," Doc Rivers said. "He's shooting a little bit. I don't know what that means, but at least he's moving around shooting. But there's been no update. I don't think he's improved to the point we thought he would, so far. We had anticipated him being back almost [by now]."
