Terrence Williams has no plan to return to the Brooklyn Nets' D-League affiliate, the Springfield Armor.
Williams is talking to other teams, a source has told Shams Charania of RealGM.
Williams signed with Turk Telekom in October, but parted ways after just two games.
Williams finished the 12-13 season with the Boston Celtics.
Jason Kidd has increasingly isolated himself within the locker room and organization of the Brooklyn Nets as their season continues to disappoint, according to sources.
Kidd has shown an inability to manage the situation and maintain the respect of his players.
Kidd believes he can spare himself blame and responsibility for the season.
Several players have expressed confusion to Kidd about their roles, according to sources.
Luol Deng is already receiving interest from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies and Brooklyn Nets among others, according to sources.
The Bulls have reportedly decided they will try to re-sign Deng in free agency.
“I’ve moved around a lot, but this is the longest I’ve been in one place my whole life and I came here at 19," Deng said. "I’m 28 now. I pretty much grew up here. So for me to think about being somewhere else, it’s a weird feeling. But at the same time, I don’t know what it’s like to be somewhere else. I’ve been here my whole career. Maybe it’s better, maybe it’s not. I don’t know that. The best thing I can do is play, be the best I can be and hope it works out. I don’t know if it will be here, if it will be somewhere else. I don’t know that.
"But right now, I can’t hang on to that. I can’t control that. I think when the season’s over and everything is done, then you sit down and you go through that stuff. But for me to think about it now, it’s just a waste of energy because I don’t even know — what am I supposed to think about? I don’t know what city. So it’s just a waste of time.”
Jason Kidd called out the Brooklyn Nets and yelled at players after the team's blowout defeat to the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, according to sources.
Kevin Garnett also vented his frustrations in the locker room and sources said his anger with some of his teammates' lack of fight has been growing.
The Nets lost by 17 points or more for the second consecutive contest Wednesday.
Garnett reportedly supports Kidd as head coach.
The Brooklyn Nets fell to 9-19 this season and have lost seven of their past eight games.
Deron Williams compared the season to a "nightmare" after a blowout loss to the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
“It’s like a nightmare,” Williams said. “The way the injuries have been and the things we talk about every day: the lack of energy, the lack of effort. I didn’t see that being a problem when we put this team together."
Jason Kidd benched his starters late in Wednesday's loss.
“The bottom line is effort,” Kidd said. “We’re not doing that right now. The big thing is when we don’t score the ball, we tend to hang our heads… We don’t get back. If you’re not giving energy or effort, I’ve got to take you out."
An executive of the Brooklyn Nets told a gathering of season ticket holders on Monday that the team could become "sellers" closer to the deadline.
The Nets have struggled to gel this season coming out of an offseason in which they hoped to become title contenders by acquiring Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Andrei Kirilenko.
Brook Lopez is out for the season with a broken foot.
Paul Pierce has been fined $15,000 by the NBA for his "excessive and unnecessary contact" with George Hill in the Brooklyn Nets' loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday.
Pierce was ejected and left the game without scoring a point.
The Brooklyn Nets lost a 103-86 decision to the Indiana Pacers at home on Monday to fall to 9-18 on the season. After winning four out of five between Dec. 7 and Dec. 16, the Nets have lost three in a row.
"I don't think we have an identity," said Garnett.
Garnett also disagreed with Jason Kidd's assessment that the Nets have become comfortable with losing.
The Brooklyn Nets have recalled forward Tornike Shengelia and guard Tyshawn Taylor from the Springfield Armor of the NBA Development League.
Both players will be available for the team's game on Monday night.
