Malcolm Thomas is expected to be called-up from the D-League by the Rockets on Wednesday, according to sources.

Thomas is currently a member of the Los Angeles D-Fenders and he has also appeared in three games this season for the Spurs.

The Los Angeles Lakers have recalled guard Darius Morris from the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League.

Morris was assigned to the D-Fenders on March 7th and played in one game with the team, helping defeat the Dakota Wizards 99-98 on March 10th. In 28 minutes, Morris totaled a team-high 21 points on 7-of-16 shooting, a rebound, four assists and a steal.

The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired Kareem Rush from the available player pool.

Rush was selected in the first round of the 2002 NBA Draft (20th overall) by the Raptors before his rights were acquired by the Lakers in a draft day deal. A seven-year NBA veteran, Rush has appeared in 346 career games (78 starts) for the Lakers, Bobcats, Pacers, 76ers and Clippers, averaging 6.4 points (35.8 3FG%), 1.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.2 minutes.

The Los Angeles Lakers assigned Darius Morris to the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the Lakers’ NBA Development League affiliate. 

Selected by the Lakers in the second round (41st overall) of the 2011 NBA Draft, Morris (6-4, 190, Michigan) has appeared in 13 games for L.A. this season, averaging 2.7 points, 1.1 assists and 10.3 minutes.

Jamario Moon will join the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the D-League.

Moon finished the 10-11 season with the Clippers.
