Courtney Fortson of the Los Angeles D-Fenders has been named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Dec. 10-16.
A 5-11, 185-pound guard out of Arkansas, Fortson led the D-Fenders to a 2-0 record for the week, averaging 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 46.5 minutes. He scored a team-high 36 points in a 134-124 triple-overtime win over the Reno Bighorns, 134-124, on Dec. 15 to go with a team-high eight assists.

The Los Angeles D-Fenders have reacquired Elijah Millsap.
Millsap, a 2010 All-Conference USA First Team selection following his junior season at Alabama-Birmingham, returns to the D-Fenders after averaging 19.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals over 41 regular season games in 2011-12.
Acquired by the D-Fenders in a trade with Tulsa, Millsap helped lead the D-Fenders to the first NBA D-League Finals berth in franchise history and earned a 2012 NBA Development League All-Star Game selection along with 2012 NBA D-League All-Second Team honors.
The Los Angeles Lakers have recalled center Robert Sacre from the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League.
Starting at center for the D-Fenders’ first three games of the season, Sacre averaged 7.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 27.0 minutes.
