The Utah Jazz will sign Jack Cooley to a 10-day contract.

Cooley was most recently with the Idaho Stampede of the D-League.

Bryce Cotton will sign with the Utah Jazz on a 10-day contract.

Cotton was playing in the D-League for the Austin Spurs.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are the frontrunners to sign Kendrick Perkins.

Doc Rivers and the Los Angeles Clippers still are pursuing Perkins, but he's said to be leaning strongly towards the Cavaliers.

One significant criteria for Perkins in choosing a team has been the opportunity for playing time.

Perkins and the Utah Jazz are close to agreement on a buyout.

Kendrick Perkins will be bought out by the Utah Jazz.

The Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls are interested in Perkins once he clears waivers.

Perkins played for both Doc Rivers and Tom Thibodeau with the Boston Celtics.

Reggie Jackson has been traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Detroit Pistons.

The Thunder will acquire Enes Kanter as part of the three-team trade, while Kendrick Perkins will go to the Utah Jazz. 

Kanter and the Jazz never had serious discussions on an extension, but the Thunder made the move with the intention of re-signing him. Kanter will be a restricted free agent this offseason.

D.J. Augustin and Steve Novak will also be acquired by the Thunder.

The Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers were also interested in Jackson.

Perkins will be bought out by the Jazz, according to Royce Young of ESPN. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers could have interest in Perkins.

The Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, Utah Jazz and Detroit Pistons are all interested in Reggie Jackson ahead of the deadline.

Jackson will be a restricted free agent in the offseason after he rejected a four-year, $48 million offer from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Oklahoma City are discussing a deal with the Utah Jazz to acquire Enes Kanter.

Kanter will become a restricted free agent in the offseason.

The Thunder also are considering a trade with the Brooklyn Nets for Brook Lopez with Reggie Jackson being dealt as the centerpiece.

Enes Kanter would like a trade before the deadline, but the Utah Jazz continue to have a high asking price.

The Jazz seek a young player and a first rounder for Kanter, but several teams are pursuing him still.

Kanter has seen his playing time decrease with the emergence of Rudy Gobert. Kanter will be a restricted free agent this offseason.

The Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks and Portland Trail Blazers enter the All-Star break as the only three teams in the NBA ranked in the top-10 in both offense and defense.

Fourteen other teams are in the top-10 in either offensive or defensive efficiency.

The Chicago Bulls ranked second in defensive efficiency last season and 28th on offense, but they are currently 9th on offense and just 13th on defense.

Teams that contend for a championship in the NBA typically are in the top-10 in both categories, or are particularly dominant on one end of the floor.

The current top-10 in efficiency differential consists of the Warriors, Hawks, Clippers, Mavericks, Blazers, Grizzlies, Raptors, Spurs, Rockets and Cavaliers.

The old/young distinction is based on the average age of players who play 15 or more minutes per game.

Enes Kanter said he hopes to be traded before the NBA trade deadline on Feb. 19.

Kanter said he has been frustrated by his role in his three-plus years in Utah.

Kanter left Wednesday's game with an eye injury and never retured despite his claim that he was healthy enough to play.

"It was not my eye at all. I don't know what it was, but it was not my eye at all. So we'll see what's going to happen," Kanter said.

Kanter will be a restricted free agent in July.
