The Toronto Raptors announced Tuesday they have assigned guard Delon Wright to Raptors 905, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Raptors. Wright is expected to be in the lineup Wednesday when Raptors 905 hosts the Idaho Stampede at Hershey Centre at 7:30 p.m.
Wright has appeared in four games with the Raptors this season, totaling four rebounds in 10 minutes of action. Wright was selected 20th overall by Toronto in the 2015 NBA Draft.
Wright will continue to be included on the Raptors’ roster and will remain on the team’s inactive list.

Jonas Valanciunas has decided to rehab the broken fourth metacarpal in his non-shooting hand instead of surgery.
Valanciunas is expected to miss approximately six weeks.
Valanciunas missed 18 games with the same injury in his right hand during the 2012-13 season.
Valanciunas signed a four-year contract extension with the Raptors before the season.
Jonas Valanciunas broke a bone in his left hand during Friday's game.
Valanciunas will undergo further tests before the Toronto Raptors determine how long he will be sidelined.
Valanciunas broke the same bone -- in his right hand -- during his 2012-13 rookie season and missed 18 games.
"It's unfortunate, and we're definitely going to miss him because of what we do, so it's next man up right now," Kyle Lowry said.
The Toronto Raptors have assigned forward Bruno Caboclo and center Lucas Nogueira to Raptors 905, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Raptors. Both players are expected to be in uniform Saturday for the first game in Raptors 905 history when the club visits the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Caboclo made his NBA season debut Wednesday at Philadelphia going scoreless in one minute. He appeared in eight games with the Raptors last season totaling 10 points, two rebounds and 23 minutes. He saw action in seven NBA D-League contests in 2014-15 with Fort Wayne, averaging 3.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 8.9 minutes.
Nogueira has appeared in two games this season with the Raptors, recording three points, one block and one steal in five minutes. In six games with Toronto last season, he totaled six points, 11 rebounds and 23 minutes. He also played in four NBA D-League games in 2014-15 with Fort Wayne, averaging 8.2 points, 10.0 rebounds and 20.1 minutes.
Terrence Ross sustained a ligament injury to his left thumb during a Monday workout session.
There is no timetable for his return to basketball activity. His status will be updated as appropriate.
Ross has averaged 6.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 17.5 minutes in seven appearances as a reserve this season.
The Toronto Raptors and Terrence Ross have agreed upon a three-year extension worth nearly $33 million.
The Raptors will avoid allowing Ross to become a restricted free agent, who has become a reserve behind DeMar DeRozan and DeMarre Carroll.
Ross was the eighth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
Anthony Bennett is excited for his new opportunity with the Toronto Raptors.
“It’s good to be back, family, friends, a great fan base,” said Bennett, who did not play in the Raptors’ season-opening win against the Pacers. “I’m definitely happy about it. This is a business. You can’t just base your career off one game.”
Bennett is in better shape than he was as a rookie coming off surgery.
“Coming into the league, I was 260, 265 after surgery, and playing at the [power forward], I just felt way too heavy,” he said. “So every year I just shed a lot of pounds, and this summer with Team Canada, it definitely helped me out a lot. I got in shape, cardio going, shots are falling, and I’m ready for the season.”
