Tony Parker has a right shoulder injury and received an injection last Saturday.

Parker has felt pain in the shoulder for three months and forced him to sit out of Tuesday's game. Parker will also sit out ASVEL's next domestic league game.

Tony Parker sat out of ASVEL's 66-62 loss to Lukoil Academic in their second game of the Eurocup.

Parker is averaging 21.9 points per game and ASVEL is 4-3 in games in which he plays.

Da'Sean Butler has reportedly signed with VEF Riga of Latvia.

Butler was the 42nd overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Heat, who waived him at the end of training camp.

Butler signed with the Spurs toward the end of March.

Hours after a deal with Unicaja Malaga fell through, Tiago Splitter has signed with Valencia Basket.

Splitter, who currently played for the Spurs, was a long time member of Caja Laboral.

Unicaja Malaga will not sign Tiago Splitter afer all.

The club's sports director said the price of Splitter's contract would be too high and there remains great uncertainty around the NBA lockout.

Valencia is interested in signing Splitter.

Splitter's agent, according to sources, wasn't interested in hearing the offer from Caja Laboral. Splitter played for Caja Laboral from 2003 until 2010.

Parker averaged 19.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.3 steals in October.

Unicaja Malaga is interested in signing Tiago Splitter if the NBA lockout continues.

Splitter has gone on record as saying he wasn't interested in playing for any team other than the Spurs.

San Antonio police say R.C. Buford, general manager of the Spurs, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Buford reportedly crashed into a fence.

In an emailed statement released Saturday afternoon, a spokesman for the Spurs said Buford is a diabetic, and the cause of the crash was a "severe low blood sugar reaction."

In the statement, Buford said he deeply regrets the incident.

"I take great pride in being a positive member of our community," Buford said. "I apologize to our community, our fans, and the entire Spurs family."
