Paul George went through five-on-five practice on Sunday with the Los Angeles Clippers.
George will practice again on Monday.
Tyronn Lue said the Clippers will see how George is feeling later this week when asked if he could soon be cleared for game action.
George hasn't played since December due to a torn UCL.
George has been upgraded to questionable for Tuesday's game against the Utah Jazz.
The LA Clippers have made a series of roster transactions. LA waived Semi Ojeleye, converted Amir Coffey from his Two-Way contract to a standard contract and signed Xavier Moon to a Two-Way deal.
Ojeleye appeared in 10 games with the Clippers after being acquired in a trade deadline deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. After four seasons as a rotation player with the Boston Celtics, Ojeleye was unable to carve out a consistent role with Milwaukee or LA.
Coffey has become a rotation player for the Clippers in his third season after being a part-time player in his sophomore season. Coffey has played in 62 games (28 starts) and averaged 8.9 points on 44/36/85 shooting splits.
Because LA didn't have an exception available, Coffey was converted for the remainder of this season only. He'll be eligible for restricted free agency this offseason.
Moon spent time with LA earlier this season on a series of hardship 10-day contracts. Moon averaged 5.5 points in six games with the Clippers. In 19 G League games (17 starts), Moon has averaged 18.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 6.3 assists.
Paul George has returned to practice as he continues his rehabilitation of a torn UCL in his elbow.
George suffered the injury in December and has been out since Christmas.
George began playing 4-on-4 with coaches over the past few days.
The Los Angeles Clippers have yet to give a possible date for his return, but he has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Jamal Crawford has announced his retirement from the professional basketball.
Crawford entered the 2000 draft out after one season at Michigan. The Chicago Bulls selected Crawford with the eighth overall pick.
Crawford went on to play several seasons for the New York Knicks beginning in 04-05 before becoming a scoring guard off the bench.
Crawford last played during the Orlando bubble for the Brooklyn Nets.
The Los Angeles Clippers have yet to make a determination on whether Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will return this season. While George appears closer than Leonard, the latter does appear to ramping up his workouts.
"Kawhi Leonard participated in a rigorous pregame workout that lasted for well over an hour today," reported Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports on TNT's broadcast of Tuesday's game between the Clippers and Golden State Warriors. "I was told it was his first extended workout he's performed in front of media members. From my observation, he has zero limitations. Yet still, the Clippers are being cautious and still aren't issuing a timetable for him or Paul George.
"I spoke with Coach [Ty] Lue and he told me that if he can't get his guys back for games in the regular season, it wouldn't be safe for them to return in the playoffs."
Leonard tore his ACL last June, while George is dealing with a torn UCL.
Reggie Jackson had a huge game as the LA Clippers blew out the rival Lakers. Jackson scored 12 points in the fourth quarter, but he said it was Clippers coach Ty Lue that got the team going.
When asked about what changed for LA at halftime, Jackson said it was Lue. "What really kept us going: we have the best coach in the league," Jackson said.
For his part, Lue said no one said anything for the part of the halftime break. Assistant Beau Levesque said the locker room was dead. Lue took it upon himself to change that vibe.
"I came in there, talking stuff. Got them laughing, got them fired up," Lue laughed.
