Brandon Goodwin has rejoined the Denver Nuggets on a two-way contract. Goodwin was previously on the Nuggets roster but was let go when the Nuggets signed Nick Young last week.
With the addition of the rookie Goodwin on a two-way deal, the team will have to let go of either DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell or Thomas Welsh to make room.

Young, 6-7, 210, spent the 2017-18 season with the Golden State Warriors, appearing in 80 games (eight starts) and averaging 7.3 points and 1.6 rebounds en route to an NBA Championship. The 11-year NBA veteran has averaged 11.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists while shooting 37.6% from three-point range in 716 career games (201 starts) with Golden State, L.A. Lakers, Philadelphia, L.A. Clippers and Washington Wizards. The Los Angeles, CA native was drafted 16th overall by the Wizards in the 2007 NBA Draft after spending three years at the University of Southern California. Young will wear #34 for the Nuggets.
Goodwin, 6-2, 180, was signed by Denver on Nov. 29 with the injury hardship relief exception. He did not appear in a game for the Nuggets. Goodwin is averaging 23.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.67 steals in nine games with the Memphis Hustle of the G League this season.
Gary Harris will be out three to four weeks with a right hip injury.
Harris suffered the injury in last Monday's win over the Raptors.
Harris had missed two games with a sore left ankle last week.
Harris is averaging 16.6 points per game on 44 percent shooting for the Nuggets this season.
Paul Millsap suffered a broken toe in his right foot in Friday's game.
Millsap played in just 38 games last season largely due to a broken wrist.
Millsap signed a three-year, $90 million contract with the Nuggets in 2017. The third year of the deal is a team option.
Gary Harris is scheduled for an MRI after hurting his groin in the first quarter against the Toronto Raptors.
The 24-year-old guard recently missed two games with an ankle injury. He is averaging 17.3 points per game this season.
Harris was replaced in the lineup by Malik Beasley, who finished the game with 15 points.
