The Washington Wizards have waived guards Shannon Brown, Malcolm Lee and Kendall Marshall. The trio was acquired from Phoenix, along with center Marcin Gortat, in exchange for center Emeka Okafor and a 2014 protected first round draft pick.

Brown has averaged 8.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in 374 career games.

Lee has averaged 4.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 35 career games with Minnesota before being traded to Phoenix last summer.

Marshall averaged 3.0 points and 3.0 assists during his rookie season with Phoenix last year.

The Wizards roster now stands at 15.

Reggie Williams was the final cut for the Houston Rockets on Monday.

"I want to thank the @HoustonRockets organization for the opportunity !!!! #RedNation," wrote Williams on Twitter.

Williams played in just two preseason games for the Rockets, averaging 4.5 points in 14.3 minutes per game.

Williams appeared in 40 games last season with the Charlotte Bobcats.

The Philadelphia 76ers have waived the contracts of guard Rodney Williams and forward Gani Lawal.

Both players signed partially guaranteed deals.

The Toronto Raptors waived forward Chris Wright and guard Carlos Morais.

Morais totaled six points and 21 minutes in three preseason games, while Wright tallied 10 points, six rebounds and 26 minutes in five outings.

The Raptors' roster now stands at 15.

The Houston Rockets will release Marcus Camby on Monday.

Camby has been injured with a torn plantar fascia tissue and plans to continue rehabilitating in hopes of returning to the NBA this season.

“Without a doubt, Marcus plans to rehab next few months and come back and play this season for the Rockets or somebody,” agent Rick Kaplan said.

Camby, 39, has a fully-guaranteed one-year contract worth $1.4 million ($884,000 will count against the Rockets salary cap.)

The Rockets will have to make one more move cut to the roster to get down to 15 by Monday’s 4 p.m. deadline. Guard Reggie Williams was the only healthy player that did not play Friday in Memphis.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived center Chris Johnson.

The Wolves' roster now stands at 15 players.

Johnson, 28, played in two preseason games this season and averaged 2.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. He was originally signed by the Wolves to a 10-day contract on January 19, 2013 before being signed to a second 10-day contract on January 29. Johnson was signed for the remainder of the 2012-13 season on February 8. 

The Denver Nuggets reduced their roster to 15 players by waiving forward Damion James.

James, signed as a non-roster invitee, averaged 3.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in seven preseason games for Denver. He went 8-for-23 from the field.

The Nuggets open the regular season Oct. 30 at Sacramento.

The Los Angeles Clippers have waived Lou Amundson.

Amundson signed with the Clippers under a non-guaranteed deal.

The Clippers' roster stands at 14 players entering Tuesday's season opener.

The Atlanta Hawks have waived forward Eric Dawson.

Dawson appeared in three preseason contests for the Hawks.

The Indiana Pacers have released forward/center Hilton Armstrong.

The Pacers’ roster now stands at 14 players.
