Kelenna Azubuike will sign with the Mavericks, according to sources.

The deal will be for two years as the veteran minimum, with the second season being a team option.

Azubuike hasn't played since the beginning of the 09-10 season because of a knee injury.

Azubuike will begin his comeback with the Texas Legends of the D-League.

The Dallas Mavericks re-assigned Sean Williams to the Texas Legends, the Mavericks’ NBA Development League affiliate.  

Williams has appeared in 22 games for the Legends this season, averaging 15.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 28.5 minutes. 

The Texas Legends have acquired Dan Gadzuric from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in exchange for Maine’s second round pick in the 2012 NBA D-League draft which was acquired by the Legends on Dec. 28, 2011.

Gadzuric played in 42 NBA games last season, 14 with the New Jersey Nets and 28 for the Golden State Warriors averaging 2.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in 11.0 minutes.

The Dallas Mavericks have recalled forward Sean Williams from the Texas Legends from the D-League.

Williams (6-10, 235) has played in 22 games for the Legends the season averaging 15.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks in 28.5 minutes. Currently Williams is shooting 50.6% from the field while making a career best 76.6% of his free-throw attempts.

The Mavericks have canceled Lamar Odom's intended D-League assignment with the Texas Legends.

Dallas decided Odom is needed for Saturday's game against the Jazz.

Odom was going to play for the Texas Legends while coming back from his personal leave.

The Dallas Mavericks have assigned forward Lamar Odom to the Texas Legends, the Mavericks’ NBA Development League affiliate. 

Odom has appeared in 32 games, four starts, for the Mavericks this season, averaging 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in 21.4 minutes.  
He has missed the team’s last three games due to personal reasons.
