The Charlotte Hornets have hired Patrick Harrel as Vice President of Basketball Insights & Analysis.

Harrel joins the Hornets from the NBA league office's data science department where he led game scheduling optimization.

This offseason, the Hornets hired Jeff Peterson to run their front office.
