The Chicago Bulls have pitched the Cleveland Cavaliers on a potential trade built around Zach LaVine for Darius Garland, sources tell Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

The Bulls began to gauge LaVine's trade value during the offseason and are said to be seeking an established starter, plus a young player with upside and first round draft pick capital for LaVine if they cannot deal him for another star.

Garland is signed with the Cavaliers until 2028, while the future of Donovan Mitchell with the franchise is less certain. LaVine would give the Cleveland backcourt more size, albeit at an older age and larger contract.
