Danny Green has yet to make his Memphis Grizzlies debut. But, if all goes to plan, Green won't have to wait much longer.

Green plans to return to the court on February 1 when the Grizzlies host the Portland Trail Blazers. That will mark roughly eight months between games for Green, who tore his left ACL and LCL last May in a playoff game with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Memphis traded for Green and a first-round pick in a draft night deal that sent De'Anthony Melton to the Sixers. The veteran wing said the Grizzlies have been great with him during the rehab process, and he believes he can now help the team on the court.

"What I bring is definitely needed here: perimeter shooting and perimeter defense," Green told ESPN late Tuesday night. "I think I can bring maturity and help a young team understand what it takes to win. This has been an A-1 organization from top to bottom in handling this entire rehab with me."
