Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson have made it clear to management of the Golden State Warriors that they want to focus on the pursuit of a championship and would like them to even consider using their two lottery picks on someone who can help immediately, sources tell The Athletic.

Bradley Beal is deemed the best player and best fit for the Warriors among the players who could potentially become available.

Beal has so far held firm that he would like to remain with the Washington Wizards and has not requested a trade. Beal has two year at $71.8 million remaining on his deal, including a $37.3 million player option for 22-23.

While the Warriors would also be interested in Damian Lillard, multiple sources said the team doesn't suspect he would want to join their team.

Any deal for Beal would have to include Andrew Wiggins to make the salaries match. Golden State would also likely need to send both of their 2021 first round picks and possibly James Wiseman as part of the package.
