The Clippers and Hornets are engaged in serious trade discussions for Chris Paul, though sources differ on whether Eric Gordon has been formally included.

A source tells ESPN's Chris Broussard that Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and Minnesota's unprotected first round pick for 2012 have been offered for Paul.

A separate source tells Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski that Gordon isn't included in the trade offer. The Clippers are eager to extend Eric Gordon if a trade for Paul falls through and are hoping to avoid a situation similar to what the Lakers experienced last week with Lamar Odom when their deal was vetoed by the NBA, according to Broussard.

The NBA is also attempting to have Eric Bledsoe included in the deal for Paul.

A source also tells Ken Berger that they are not offering Gordon.
