Troy Murphy hasn't demanded a trade, but the Nets are still open to moving the forward.

Murphy was rumored to be a part of the multiplayer deal with the Nuggets and Pistons that would have sent Carmelo Anthony to New Jersey.

Those talks broke down when the Nets pulled out on Wednesday night.

"Troy didn't demand a trade," general manager Billy King said. "We agreed because he was part of that trade and it didn't happen we would continue to try and trade him."
