The Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, and New Orleans Hornets are working on a multi-player trade.

The rumored deal would involve Washington trading Antonio Daniels and a first round pick in exchange for Mike James via New Orleans and Javaris Crittenton via Memphis. For the trade to go through, Washington would have to waive a player, likely Dee Brown or Juan Dixon.

The Hornets would acquire guard Antonio Daniels. He would immediately become the primary backup to starting point guard, Chris Paul. The Hornets have been exploring ways to improve their depth at that position.

The Grizzlies would acquire the first round pick. The draft pick mentioned was originally sent to Washington from Memphis in exchange for Juan Carlos Navarro. This current deal would allow Memphis to reclaim the pick.
