Washington and Memphis have held discussions about second year guard Javaris Crittenton, the Washington Post is reporting.

It is believed the trade would likely involve a swap of Crittenton for the conditional draft pick the Wizards received from Memphis in the summer of 2007 for Juan Carlos Navarro.

Crittenton, who was a first round pick less than two years ago, has been stuck behind Kyle Lowry and O.J. Mayo on the Grizzlies.

To make room for Crittenton the Wizards would have to waive a player, with Dee Brown and Juan Dixon the most likely candidates because their contracts are partially guaranteed.
