Negotiations between the Wizards and unrestricted free agent shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson continued Thursday and the sides were moving closer to an agreement, according to a league source familiar with negotiations.

According to the source, the Wizards had been holding firm with an offer of four years, $15 million, while Stevenson, who played for just under $1 million last season, was looking for around $ 3 million more than what the Wizards are offering.

The team has also continued to field offers for Spanish guard Juan Carlos Navarro, who recently negotiated a way out of his contract with F.C. Barcelona.
