Don?t expect Rex Chapman to be the point man for the Phoenix Suns any time soon.

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press Chapman said Tuesday that he is not interested in becoming the President and GM of the Suns, a position made vacant when Bryan Colangelo resigned Monday to take over the basketball operations of the Toronto Raptors.

"Even though (Suns all-star point guard) Steve Nash and I are the best of friends and I maintain a residence here in Phoenix, I'm just not interested at this time and would not be interested in leaving the Timberwolves," Chapman said by telephone.

Chapman said he informed Wolves owner Glen Taylor that he's not interested in the Suns' opening.
