Nick Young is receiving 'major interest' from teams in China, according to his agent Aaon Mintz.
Young averaged 17.4 points per game for the Wizards during the 10-11 season.

Commissioner David Stern, deputy commissioner Adam Silver, and San Antonio Spurs owner Peter Holt, who leads the labor relations committee, will take part, as will players’ association executive director Billy Hunter, union president Derek Fisher of the Lakers and union counsel Ron Klempner, two people told the Associated Press yesterday on condition of anonymity.
The two sides last met on August 1st.
Thaddeus Young has received attention from teams in China, according to his agent Jim Tanner.
“I have been contacted by multiple teams in China expressing very serious interest in having Thaddeus Young play in their league this season,” Tanner said. “I have discussed this with Thad and he is intrigued by the possibility of playing in China if the lockout continues and has asked me to further explore these opportunities. At this point, our conversations with the teams have been preliminary but we are continuing to talk and to do our due diligence on each option.”
Young is a restricted free agent.
Rick Adelman will return to Minneapolis to meet with Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor on Tuesday, according to a league source.
Adelman is a candidate to become the franchise's next head coach.
According to league sources, Adelman was not retained by Houston in part because of his failure to develop a relationship with Rockets owner Les Alexander.
Taylor was unable to meet with Adelman during an interview last week.
Shabazz Muhammad would consider going directly from high school to the NBA if it were an option he had available to him.
“Right now, I’m just looking to college and having a great college experience, but I would look into that,” he said. “Just watching all those guys that came from high school [to the pros] … Kobe, Amar’e get to learn early. All those guys are successful in the league that came straight out of high school. I would love to be one of those guys.”
Wilson Chandler has signed a contract with the Zhejiang Guangsha of the Chinese Basketball Association.
Chandler will not be able to participate in the 11-12 NBA season because the CBA does not allow players to sign with an out clause.
"Maybe I'll lose out," Chandler said. "But I think it can be a great experience. I haven't been in any [labor negotiation] meetings. I can't call it. I'm just taking a risk, at the end of the day."
Chandler is a restricted free agent.
"I like [Denver], I like the team," Chandler said. "Great young team. Coach [George] Karl is a great coach. I like the management. Hopefully I'm there."
The deal is believed to be worth less than the $3.1 million qualifying offer made by the Nuggets.
