D-League Players Make Between $13,000 And $25,500 Per Year

The D-League has three classifications for player salaries, paying $25,500, $19,000 and $13,000 per year.

D-League teams also have a per-team salary cap of $178,000 with a dollar-for-dollar luxury tax for teams that go over.

Players also receive a per diem of $40 on the road.

Thunder Assign Liggins, Orton To D-League

The Oklahoma City Thunder has assigned guard DeAndre Liggins and center Daniel Orton to the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League. 

During the 2012-13 season, Liggins has appeared in four games for the Thunder logging a total of 11 minutes.

Orton has seen action in one game scoring two points in two minutes of action versus Cleveland on Nov. 11th.

The Texas Legends acquired guard Solomon Bozeman in exchange for forward Anthony Vereen.

Bozeman (6’1”, 175) was selected in the sixth round of the NBA D-League Draft with the 86th overall pick. Bozeman spent part of the 2011 - 2012 season with the Austin Toros averaging 8 points and 3 assists.

Vereen was the Legends only player to appear in all 50 games last season. He averaged 9.7 points and 4.2 rebounds during the 2011-2012 season.

JaJuan Johnson was the first overall pick of the 2012 D-League Draft as he was selected by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Andrew Goudelock went second to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, followed by the selection of Justin Harper by the Idaho Stampede.

Shelvin Mack was picked fourth overall by the Maine Red Claws and Mike Davis rounded out the top-five by going to the Reno Bighorns.

Christian Eyenga, a first round pick by the Cavaliers in 2009, was drafted eighth overall by the Texas Legends.
