I honestly believe the NBA is just like the WWF just not exposed. Think aobut how much revenue one more game can generate and Boston is the main reason why the ratings are up this year on TNT I think 20 percent. It is all entertainment.
ie. You think the NBA is going to let Utah beat houston in Houston when it is a gaurantee that Utah will sellout game 6 in salt lake.
ie. How many more season ticket holders will Atlanta have next year because of this improbable run.
COM'MON FIXED

dsorc and I completely agree. The NBA/WWF needs to get its act together for the West though. Think about the ratings Sun-Spurs game 7 would've generated. The least they could've done was to cue in some music and had a surprise Violet Palmer attack in the second half of game 5.

CONSPIRACY!!! The 66 win Celtics with three hall of famers can't match the ratings of Zaza Pachulia's Hawks! Boston fans are so ridiculous. Boston = jump shooting team, the Hawks attack the basket. If the Celtics did the same they would have probably won this in 5. Our perimeter defense is weak and Smith can't block every shot.

Phoenix, Dallas, Denver, and Toronto disagree.

Yes because I said this was fixed. I'm just annoyed by the people who kept saying that Stern wanted the Cs to win and yada yada yada. You can't deny that the NBA execs have to be enjoying these results so far in terms of economics conspiracy theory or not.

Of course it's fixed. I mean look at the appealing style of the Spurs. Man they really boost ratings with their style of play and young rising stars. I mean who doesn't want to see off the glass shots and flops from Manu? No one, that's what the ratings say and that's why the Spurs are the reigning dynasty. Because it's good for business.
On an unrelated note, I can't believe the Hawks won tonight, they could of loss a close one in front of the second sell out at their house in the past 10 years... instead they choose to close the series by getting blown out in Boston. What a weird decision by JJ, Horford.

I completely agree with you. I was just pointing out that NBA execs probably dropped the ball for the following series: Phoenix, Dallas, Denver, and Toronto. They need to fine-tune their ways, can't just reap benefits from 1 series. Gotta have "questionable" officiating make all series go 7 games. C'mon Stern!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

I can't blame Cs fans for being arrogant going into this one.
The Hawks simply blow on the road and the Celtics are one of the best teams in the league at home.
And Im sure there will be plenty of homecooking with the officiating.
Unquestionably it would have to be the greatest upset of all time in sports for the Hawks to complete this.
SO again I see why Boston fans are so cocky

I know man, it's a conspiracy to get Hawks to the NBA finals! Damn Stern!
Or a conspiracy to revive basketball in Atlanta?
Well not really conspiracy since conspiracy would be Stern rigging the entire series in ATL's favor. I just think that these games were "forced" to be close and show Atlanta's fans how good of a young core they have so they will go out and actually support them next season. Ultimately the C's had their chances to win so the refs didn't decide the games. They just kept them close and when you're at home and can feed off the crowd like Atlanta was in games 4 and 6 they were very capable of winning with the talent they have when given an opportunity in the fourth quarter.

The post before you is as blatant a piece of sarcasm as I've ever seen. I blame the public schools for this.
