He is to well liked by the coach though who will probably play him 30 minutes and that is the problem. The Bulk of the minutes need to go to Gasol/Odom/Bynum yet Phil knowing Phil would start Kwame.

im down for this only because of the strech of games coming up and the injury to Bynum. besides, it will take time for gasol to jess twith the guys (besides Kobe). so...bring em back on a 10-day contract...lol

Kwame is fine for cheap and to make the guys laugh at practice and in the locker room. If he gets spot minutes there's no harm in that.

We were just in the unfortunate position of having him as a starter/ major rotation player.

God life is good right now.

Just watching PTI and Tony Cornhieser (spelling) said that Kwame Brown will probably be out of the nba now. Now I know and we know that is wrong because Phil will probably push to sign him but that's 4 experts on t.v. now that think Kwame is terrible and shouldnt be playing. The others are Chuck and Kenny plus Steven A who said the Lakers can only win if they take out Kwame from the picture.

I think we should definitely get Kwame back. I our lineup by playoff time would be like this:

Bynum/Kwame/Mihm
Gasol/Radman/Turiaf
Odom/Ariza/Walton
Kobe/Sasha/Coby
Fish/Farmar

Sick roster on paper, but we have to be cautious as we've all witnessed the Nuggets paper roster vs. actual roster over the last few years.

hmmm...George Karl? Phil Jackson? George Karl? Phil Jackson?

I'm not a rocket scientist or anything but Im sure Phil could make our lineup ACTUALLY WORK.

I'd love for this to happen. I'm not that disappointed in Kwame, when healthy he's a very good asset as a bench guy/specialist. Yes, as of right now he's extremely overpaid, but I think he would have a role in a championship run. I just hope he'll be happy settling for vets min this year and a fraction of the mle this offseason.

The Gary Payton Rule.

I think you have to wait 20-30 days before the Lakers can pick him up.

Either way, I don't care if another team picks Kwame up before LA.

is there another team that would pick up kwame?

Celtics are in the market for a backup big man with some size... pretty sure they passed on Webber. Not sure if they would want Kwame... I honestly don't know much about Kwame since his days with the Wizards. But obviously the Celts value defense.

With Kwame we can pick him up we just cant trade for him again ( like we would)

Example: the Suns cant trade for KT this year.

Players that are bought out can resign with their former team. Dallas did it with Alan Henderson a few years back when they got Van Horn from MIL.

Look, it's been greatly exaggerated how bad Kwame Brown is. The fact is that when we were winning, Bynum was the starter, and Kwame was getting 10-15 minutes off the bench. He was PERFECT in that roll. When he doesn't have the pressure of being the starter and having to do things he's not capable of he plays much better. If we add him to back up Bynum and Gasol, he'll be in the perfect spot. If he gets bought out, we should swap him up right away.

Haha, that would be hilarious if we picked up Kwame for the minimum. That would be freaking sweet, what are you guys talking about.

The Lakers would do that in a heartbeat - they like Kwame.

I would take Kwame back with open arms, for MLE.

I would love us to keep Lamar for about 5 to 7 mil per.
