He's rested due to an Achilles and hamstring issue for a while this season. Seems to be somewhat strained and of the same injury. He should give it rest but I don't think he has anything that specifically an issue like Durant clearly did. Nevertheless I would be super careful
During Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets, Durant suffered a right calf strain,[137] subsequently missing Game 6, in which the Warriors won the series, as well as the entire Western Conference Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers, which the Warriors won in a four-game sweep.[138]
After missing nine games with the strained right calf,[139] Durant returned to action in game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals against Toronto, and scored 11 points in the first quarter.[140] However, he was lost for the game two minutes into the second quarter when he tried to drive by former teammate Serge Ibaka and suffered an Achilles tendon injury, falling and grabbing his lower right calf.
Coincidentally, at the same time, I strained my left calf while playing basketball and going up for a rebound, completely non-contact. I obviously didn't rush back, but now every time I go for a jog for more and 3 miles, my calf injury presents itself again. Giannis is 8 months out from 30. These leg injuries start to happen around then. I'd be terrified of rushing him back too soon if I'm the Bucks.
