The San Antonio Spurs claimed big man Sandro Mamukelashvili off waivers on Friday. Mamukelashvili's two-way deal was immediately converted to a standard contract with the Spurs. Mamukelashvili was waived from his two-way deal by the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.
To create the roster space to add Mamukelashvili, San Antonio waived Isaiah Roby. Roby had joined the Spurs after being claimed off waivers before the start of this season.
Mamukelashvili appeared in 65 NBA games with the Bucks over two seasons. He averaged 3.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game.
Roby played in 42 games with the Spurs this season. In 11.3 minutes per game, he averaged 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
The Los Angeles Clippers continued their shuffling of the bottom of their roster with a pair of transactions on Wednesday. LA waived Keaton Wallace from his two-way deal. In his place, the Clippers signed Xavier Moon to a two-way contract.
Moon played in 10 NBA games with the LA Clippers last season. This year, he's appeared in 39 games with the Ontario Clippers of the G League.
Moon has averaged 19.5 points, 4.9 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game in the G League. He's shot 52.8% from the field, including 37% on 3.9 three-point attempts per game.
The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on Two-Way forward Sandro Mamukelashvili.
Mamukelashvili appeared in 65 games with the Bucks over the last two seasons while on a Two-Way contract and averaged 3.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game. Originally selected with the 54th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Mamukelashvili also played in 30 games (23 starts) with the Wisconsin Herd over the past two seasons where he averaged 20.5 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
The Washington Wizards have waived center Vernon Carey Jr.
