Kenneth Faried has agreed to a contract buyout with the Brooklyn Nets.
The 29-year-old Faried is expected to join the Rockets once he clears waivers on Monday.
The Rockets have until then to make room for Faried's roster spot. With Clint Capela's injury, Faried will step into the lineup immediately and play significant minutes.
The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on Two-Way guard Jaylen Morris.
Originally signed to a Two-Way contract on July 31, Morris appeared in four games with the Bucks this season and averaged 2.5 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 7.1 minutes per game. Morris also played in 13 games (all starts) with the Bucks’ G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, and averaged 14.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
The Bucks roster now stands at 16 players.
The New Orleans Pelicans have waived Andrew Harrison.
Harrison, 6-6, 213, who was originally signed to a two-way contract by New Orleans on December 5, appeared in six games with the Pelicans, averaging 1.5 points and 1.2 assists in 6.3 minutes.
New Orleans’ roster now stands at 16, including one two-way player (Trevon Bluiett).
The Toronto Raptors announced Monday they have waived guard Lorenzo Brown. He appeared in 40 games over two seasons with the Raptors averaging 2.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
Brown also appeared in 32 games with Raptors 905 during the 2017-18 season and was named the NBA G League MVP.
Toronto’s roster now stands at 15 players.
The Washington Wizards have waived Ron Baker.
The Wizards signed Baker shortly after he was waived by the New York Knicks.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will waive Pat McCaw.
McCaw recently signed a two-year, $6 million contract, which was non-guaranteed.
The Golden State Warriors elected not to match the contract.
McCaw now becomes an unrestricted free agent.
The Phoenix Suns have waived forward/center Eric Moreland.
Moreland signed with the Suns on Dec. 10 and appeared in one game, grabbing three rebounds in five minutes against Golden State on Dec. 31.
The Suns’ roster now stands at 15 players.
The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on forward/center Alan Williams.
Williams, who was signed to a two-way contract on Sept. 24, played in 17 games for Brooklyn’s NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, where he averaged 21.0 points and a league leading 14.7 rebounds in 26.9 minutes per contest. He did not appear in a game for Brooklyn this season.
The Nets roster now stands at 16 players.
