The Boston Celtics have assigned forward Jordan Mickey, and guards Terry Rozier and R.J. Hunter to the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League.
In the Red Claws' 113-83 victory over the Iowa Energy on December 28, Mickey tallied 22 points on 9-15 (.600) shooting, eight rebounds, one steal and three blocks in 29 minutes. He has played in 14 matchups for Maine this season and is averaging 19.0 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steal and 4.5 blocks in 34.6 minutes per game.
Rozier has appeared in four contests for the Red Claws this season and is averaging 20.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 34.8 minutes per game. In his latest matchup with the Red Claws on December 19, he recorded a double-double with 13 points, a game-high 10 assists and seven rebounds in 41 minutes of action.
Hunter tallied a season-high 12 points on 5-6 (.833) shooting, two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 21 minutes against the Atlanta Hawks on November 24. He has appeared in 20 games for the Celtics this season and is averaging 3.4 points and 1.5 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game over that span.
The Miami Heat have assigned guard Josh Richardson to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Richardson has appeared in 13 games (one start) with the Heat this season, averaging 1.7 points and 1.1 rebounds in 9.2 minutes while shooting 31.6 percent (6-of-19) from the field and 40 percent (4-of-10) from three-point range. In his lone NBA start on November 12, Richardson scored eight points and grabbed three rebounds in a, 92-91, win vs. Utah. He has led the team in plus/minus twice and is tied for third in charges taken (two) this season. He was originally drafted by the Heat in the second round (40th overall) in the 2015 NBA Draft.
The Austin Spurs have acquired guard Nick Johnson from the available player pool.
Johnson (6-3/202, Arizona) was selected 42nd overall by the Houston Rockets in the 2014 NBA Draft. He played in 28 games during the 2014-15 season for Houston, averaging 2.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.4 minutes of play before being traded to the Denver Nuggets, where he appeared in six preseason games.
In his junior year at Arizona, Johnson was named Pac-12 Player of the Year in addition to receiving First-Team All-Pac-12 and Pac-12 All-Defensive Team honors. In 38 games, he averaged 16.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 33.1 minutes.

Sioux Falls’ guard DeAndre Liggins was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games Played Monday, Dec. 21 through Sunday, Dec. 27. This is the second Performer of Week award for Liggins of his D-League career. He previously received the honor on Dec. 30, 2013 also as a member of Sioux Falls.
Liggins led Sioux Falls to a 3-0 week, averaging 17.3 points on 44.0 percent shooting from the floor (16-for-36) to go with 9.0 assists, 8.7 rebounds and 3.3 steals. He connected on seven of his 15 shots from beyond the arc (46.7 percent). On Dec. 27, he recorded his second triple-double of the season with 14 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds in a 106-101 victory over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
For the season, Liggins is averaging 13.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.1 assists (ranks third in the league) and 2.5 steals (ranks second in the league). He has two triple-doubles on the season. They are the only two triple-doubles to be a recorded so far this season.
The Dallas Mavericks have reassigned guard Justin Anderson and center Salah Mejri to the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.
Anderson (6-6, 228) is averaging 25.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 37.1 minutes in four D-League contests (four starts) this year.
Anderson is averaging 2.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 6.4 minutes in 17 games (one start) for the Mavericks this season.

Raptors 905, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced Saturday the club has waived guard Nick Wiggins.
The team also announced Saturday forward Walter Pitchford’s retirement from professional basketball.
Wiggins appeared in 10 games this season, averaging 4.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 10.1 minutes. Pitchford played in five games, averaging 2.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 14.2 minutes.
The Miami Heat have reassigned forward/center Jarnell Stokes to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Stokes has appeared in seven games (all starts) in two different stints with the Skyforce this season, helping them to a 6-1 record, averaging 18.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.29 steals, 1.14 blocks and 29.0 minutes while shooting 65.9 percent from the field. He has posted two double-doubles and scored at least 20 points in four contests. Additionally, he grabbed double-figure rebounds on three occasions and blocked multiple shots three times.
The Washington Wizards plan to sign Jarell Eddie of the Austin Spurs.
The Wizards will waive Ryan Hollins to clear room for Eddie.
Eddie has averaged 14.1 points on 52.5 percent shooting on three-pointers in 11 games this season with Austin.
