Rudy Gobert made his long-awaited return to the Utah Jazz lineup in a victory over the Houston Rockets on Monday. Despite his getting two technical fouls and being ejected, Gobert said the Jazz seem like a different team.

"Our energy is different. That slump that we had really sparked something. We're playing like a team that's trying to accomplish something," Gobert said. "Regardless of who we're playing, we're going to bring the same mentality."

Donovan Mitchell echoed his teammate's comments. Mitchell said the team's rough patch to start 2022 has only made them stronger, as they now talk out issues versus holding things in. And that's contributed to the team's current six-game win streak.

"That's how you build those winning habits," Mitchell said. "And I can't say those were there earlier in the year. Now we're all holding each other accountable and all communicating, and that's allowing us to take that step."
