The Los Angeles Lakers are interested in signing Wesley Matthews to replace Danny Green, sources told Marc Stein of The New York Times.

Green was traded to the Thunder as part of a package to acquire Dennis Schroder

Matthews averaged 7.4 points and 2.5 rebounds with the Bucks last season.

Matthews has a $2.6 million player option for next season.

The deal for Schroder will be officially formalized on Wednesday, after the Lakers make the draft selection for the Thunder.
