Randy Wittman has been fired by the Washington Wizards as head coach.

Wittman led the Wizards to the second round of last year's playoffs but were in the lottery this season.

The Wizards changed their identity to play small.

Ernie Grunfeld confirmed his front office is secure and he's in charge of the coaching search.
