Through five games, Jim Boeheim has 10 players who are averaging at least 12.8 minutes per game, and no one on Syracuse is averaging more than 25.4 minutes per game.

Last season, only eight players averaged more than ten minutes per game for the Orange.

While Boehiem will certainly use a tighter rotation as the season progresses, but his depth will help avoid a repeat of last season when they started the season 18-0 before going 9-8 during the remainder of the season.

The Orange don’t play at a particularly quick pace, but their staple 2-3 zone defense involves a lot of movement and running around.
