Marco Belinelli is the only starter of the Hornets that has to fight for his job. Belinelli came off the bench for 10 games before returning to the starting lineup on March 4th.

Belinelli's ability to hit open shots frees up space for Chris Paul and David West from double-teams.

“If he’s knocking his shot down, he opens it up for everyone else,’’ head coach Monty Williams said. “The problem is that you don’t know if you are going to get that every night, so you change up your rotations.

“Part of my growth is that I have to learn to stick with guys. But it certainly helps when he’s knocking down shots like that.’’
