Kansas junior guard Tyshawn Taylor has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, coach Bill Self announced Monday.

Taylor has started all but one game for the Jayhawks this season.

"Although we are disappointed in Tyshawn, he will remain a member of our team and practice with our team until he is reinstated for competition," Self said in a statement.

Taylor has struggled Sherron Collins at point guard, averaging 8.8 points per game for Kansas and ranking third in the Big 12 in in assists per game (4.7).
