Ohio State's Jared Sullinger and Purdue's Ryne Smith were named the Big Ten Players of the Week.

Sullinger has won the honor three times this season. The fresman recorded back-to-back double-doubles in conference wins against Iowa and Minnesota last week. In Iowa City, Sullinger scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Smith shot 78.6 percent from beyond the arc and is averaging a team-best 19.0 points per game in the Boilermakers' wins over Penn State and Iowa. Smith also averaged 3.5 rebounds per game on the week which tripled his career average of 1.0 per outing.
