Wisconsin-Green Bay is left to wonder what might have been had they not been without Jarvis Williams for seven games early in the season because of an ankle injury.

The Phoenix (7-9 overall, 1-3 Horizon League) lost four of the seven games Williams missed.

Williams, a junior forward, has played outstanding.

"I'd rather have him now," coach Brian Wardle said, "than in November."

After putting up 10 points and six rebounds in his debut against Minnesota-Duluth, he rolled his ankle in the second game  of the season at Marquette.

Williams has averaged 14.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while shooting 51.7 percent in his last three games.
