Chris Bosh and Amar'e Stoudemire were considered rivals of sorts during the offseason as two of the best free agents bigs.

Bosh downplayed how much attention he paid to other free agents during the offseason.

"I was just looking at the situation for me," Bosh said. "Of course you're aware of what other players are doing and what they're thinking, because it's always on the TV, it was always on the TV every day at that point."

Stoudemire has been excellent since joining the Knicks, but the Heat downplayed the theory they would be better with him instead of Bosh.
