Carmelo Anthony's intentions are still a subject of some disagreement among the reporters covering the story.

Ken Berger writes that Carmelo Anthony will sign a contract extension upon being traded only if he is dealt to the Knicks.  Berger and Chris Sheridan issued their reports around the same time on Sunday and echo a similar strategy from Anthony's camp.  However, Berger maintains that Anthony has not ruled out re-signing with the Nuggets.

Berger also disputes that Anthony has actually delivered an ultimatum to the Nuggets, though he states that Denver's front office is nonetheless aware of his demands.

Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post disagrees, writing that the Knicks are not Anthony's only choice and he remains open to other destinations, including New Jersey.

Alan Hahn of Newsday seems to corroborate that Anthony has no interest in the Nets but does not want to publicly reject the team.  He cites a person close to Anthony.

Frank Isola of the New York Daily News cites a person in Anthony's camp in reporting that the Bulls continue to be "a viable option" and the Nets are not out of the running.
