The Nuggets waived guard Coby Karl on Friday, but it's possible that he could return to the club.

Karl's agent, Dan Fegan, said that Karl could re-sign with Denver once he clears waivers on Tuesday.

"Coby has proven that he can contribute at the NBA level," Fegan said.

"He's gotten better every year. And we're still in discussions with Denver regarding his situation. Just because he's gotten waived doesn't mean that he won't be part of the Nuggets."

If Karl does play for the Nuggets this season, he'd become the first NBA player to play under his father.
