Cavaliers assistant coach Mike Malone has been linked to the coaching staff of Monty Williams in New Orleans.

Malone was Mike Brown's top assistant in Cleveland and was the team's offensive coordinator last season.

Assistants Melvin Hunt and Chris Jent are still both under contract with the Cavaliers and will be considered by the next head coach.
