Timberwolves point guard Jonny Flynn wants to see the team draft Syracuse forward Wesley Johnson with the fourth overall pick.

"Honestly, as soon as he saw the draft balls he called me and yelled out 'teammate' to me," Johnson told the Star Tribune of Flynn. "He was already banking on me coming. He was excited about it, but we'll just have to see what happens."

Johnson practiced one season with Flynn, who was drafted by Minnesota in 2009. He never played a game with Flynn because Johnson sat out the point guard's senior season after transferring from Iowa State.

"I think that'd be a great fit," Johnson said of the Wolves. "Jonny's a teammate of mine. I never got to play with him, but I'd get to play with him if they do draft me. That'd be a big positive for me."
